Proposal Lead

Job Description:

As a Proposal Lead, you will develop, manage and coordinate proposal efforts for our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the proposal development process, ensuring that proposals are tailored to specific opportunities that meet client requirements, are of high quality, and are submitted on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the proposal development process from start to finish, including managing the proposal schedule, developing proposal outlines, writing, and editing content, and coordinating input from internal teams.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of client requirements, conduct research, gather information, and tailor proposals to meet client needs.
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and technical, to develop the proposal content, graphics, and overall strategy so that all proposal components are completed on time and meet the required quality standards.
• Review and analyze EOIs, RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, and other proposal requests to determine the scope and requirements of each proposal.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop pricing strategies and competitive analyses.
• Manage multiple proposals simultaneously and prioritize workload to meet proposal deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
• 5+ years of proposal development experience, including experience in managing proposal efforts from start to finish.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely including the ability to develop compelling proposals.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and project management skills, including managing multiple projects and prioritising workload.
• Knowledge of proposal development processes and best practices, including compliance and quality control.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, MS Projects.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of proposal development projects.
